Yeah — a few, actually. Einstein, Tesla… but the one that’s stuck with me the longest is something my father used to tell me when I was a kid:
“Be true to your consciousness.”
I think he meant your heart — that deep inner compass. Over time, it’s become the thread that runs through most of what I do. If something feels right to me, even if the whole world is against, I still try to stand by it. The outcome might not always be what I hoped for, but it usually gets me closer to where I’m meant to be.
That belief is a big part of why I wrote this piece: To the Girl Who Looked Up. It’s a reflection on staying true to that voice inside you — even when the world seems to offer no room for it. It’s for anyone who’s ever felt unseen but still chose to look up.
