Consciousness could be connected to Quantum Entanglement!

A recent paper explored how the brain might harness quantum entanglement through entangled photons generated within the myelin sheath’s lipid molecules. This could potentially explain the synchronized activity of neurons and offer a fresh perspective on consciousness.

To put it simply: you might be more connected to the universe than you ever imagined—like, actually connected, consciously. Quantum physics and cutting-edge research suggest that it’s possible.

You’ve probably heard of quantum entanglement: two particles linked across any distance, instantly influencing each other. Einstein famously called it “spooky action at a distance.”

Now, scientists are investigating whether this same quantum phenomenon could be happening in our brains. And guess what? It might just be possible.

Research suggests that the myelin sheath, which insulates neurons, could create the perfect conditions for quantum entanglement. If this turns out to be true, your brain could be functioning on the same quantum level as the universe, using entangled particles to keep your thoughts in sync.

In other words, every thought you have might be linked to the universe in ways we’re only beginning to explore. If our brains are using quantum entanglement, then the idea that “we are all made of star dust” takes a whole different meaning. Every time you think, you might be interacting with the universe’s quantum web. How cool is that?

The potential role of quantum entanglement in brain function also raises fascinating questions about broader theoretical frameworks like string theory and M-theory. But we’ll save that deep dive for the next blog post!

I loved this one! I also hope, that these findings will offer us insight into the brain’s ability to leverage these resources for quantum information transfer, I see there is a potential source for the synchronized activity of neurons. They have proven that quantum processes are involved in birds’ migratory mechanisms and in metamorphosis. It would be entirely reasonable for quantum to be involved in other biological processes as well.
