Yeah you read the title right… It maybe not be exactly as it sounds but it sure is cool. Read ahead to find out. It wont be disappointing, i promise. People who read and gets fascinated about astronomy sure will feel the same about the famous “Large Hadron Collider“. For those who doesn’t, here is a brief: This science toy is the most famous and world’s largest particle accelerator built in a tunnel beneath the France-Switzerland border near Geneva. It is 27 kms in circumference and deep as 175 meters. This do-wikky-thing was solely built to investigate and research more about particle physics – a field in physics to study the…

“Dark Force” – nothing to do with Star Wars, I promise…although that would be cool.
Project “Dark Force” – this is what scientists are calling the recent plan to research about “Dark matter & Dark energy” that make up 95% of our cosmos. There are basically four forces of nature that are known to physicists. 1. Gravitational force. 2. The weak force. 3. Electromagnetic force. 4. The strong force. Gravitational force Every particle in the universe binds itself to another particle. This force that binds them together is called Gravitational force – the reason behind why the apple fell; which led to Issac Newton’s discovery. This is the weakest force in nature but infinite. Here is how Issac Newton described the universal law of gravitation,…

Our Sun will die and engulf Earth one day
For a while now, scientists have been doing all kinds of math on when & how our Sun will die and what will be the fate of the planets that’s dependent on this yellow star, including Earth – well… we may have an answer now. A team of International astronomers along with Professor Albert Zijlstra from the University of Manchester have an answer – it will turn into a planetary nebula – a luminous bubble of gas and dust but a bit more massive. The basics: We all know that Sun is a hot star that’s composed of Hydrogen and Helium that holds the entire Solar System together – due…

China Space Station plunging to Earth this weekend.
Tiangong-1 which literally translates to “Heavenly Palace” would be re-entering Earth’s atmosphere this weekend on April Fool’s day and scientists will not know where, until a few hours before it happens.. Worry much? Do not panic. Possibility of this space station falling on a person is zero. This has never happened in the past. Since 70% of Earth is covered with water, it would take a nose-dive into the ocean. Although, in 1997, a women was hit by an object which was thought to be part of Delta rocket. She wasn’t hurt. Also when the US’s 77-tonne SkyLab took an unexpected fall, it did not injure anyone and some of…

Following its victory, Falcon Heavy to launch 25 satellites into Space
Falcon Heavy is set to take off once again this June. People have been waiting to see Falcon Heavy roar up again ever since it shot Tesla’s roadster into orbit in the outer space. The next launch is sooner than you think. US Air Force has reserved SpaceX’s Falcon Heavy to launch two dozen satellites this June as part of the STP-2 ( Space Test Program) payload. These 25 satellites will consists of six weather research satellites – each weighing less than 500 pounds. They are part of Constellation Observing system for Meteorology, Ionosphere and Climate-2 or the COSMIC-2 program. Other satellites include, Air Force Research Laboratory’s Demonstration and Science…

The week that made its way into our history books!
If you had been following the news, you know what my headline means exactly. Yes, the launch of the Falcon Heavy – the most powerful rocket build by our very own rocket man’s company, SpaceX. A very short brief: On Feb 06 2018 at 3:45 PM EST, SpaceX made its way into history (again) with its successful launch of Falcon Heavy with its special payload – Elon Musk’s own Tesla midnight cherry red roadster with a driver named “Starman” in it. So, After this historical event, there were so many questions that people wanted answers to. I myself was asked so many questions like What’s so special about this rocket?…
